Project status

Academic Figma prototype · 2022 · proposed interactions

Project boundary. This is an academic project — not a claim of commissioned, built, tested, or approved work beyond what this page documents. A connected Figma prototype; camera recognition, location services and AR were not built.

My contribution

Discovery, visitor journey, interface design, information hierarchy and connected Figma prototyping.

01 / Design decisions

Turn a complex building into a clear path.

The concept begins with a visitor outside La Sagrada Familia. I mapped an eight screen journey that moves from an introduction and location view into camera guidance, architectural details and a simulated night mode.

02 / Design decisions

Guide the visitor without taking over the visit.

The camera screen proposes a simple framing cue before opening contextual stories. The interaction was designed in Figma as a connected academic prototype; it does not claim working recognition, location services or a deployed augmented reality system.

03 / Design decisions

Use the interface to reveal another atmosphere.

The night view offers an interpretive layer rather than documentary evidence. It helped me explore how interface, architectural storytelling and atmosphere could work together while keeping the project honest about what remained conceptual.

What came out of it

The outcome.

An eight screen connected Figma prototype that links orientation, camera guidance, architectural information and a simulated night experience.

What I would develop next

Test the flow outdoors, and design an equally complete route for visitors who do not want to use the camera.

Tools with a purpose.

Figma

Academic screen design, visual hierarchy and connected prototype flow across eight interface states.

Drawing and spatial observation

Translated the basilica facade, visitor position and architectural stories into a sequence of digital decisions.
