Confirmed recovery master: reference feet with isolated P/R join repair. Three base and six experimental color cuts. Proposed introductory price: $1.99; no sale is active.
Project boundary. 149-glyph Latin prototype. Chinese and other writing systems remain unfinished. Color-font support varies by app; Adobe desktop rendering and catalog admission have not been verified.
My contribution
Creative direction, letterform and terminal feedback, identity direction, specimen interaction design and review; AI-assisted computational glyph construction, font engineering and documentation.
01 / Design decisions
The visor portfolio called for an organic face with stronger strokes, quiet terminals and soft green atmosphere. I compared weights and marked inconsistent feet and tips. A global join correction changed unrelated terminals, so I returned to the selected reference and isolated the P/R repair. The confirmed base masters are now frozen and checked: all 88 mapped base characters are preserved in each branded cut, with only P/R differing from the reference before repair.
02 / Design decisions
CSS blur alone could demonstrate the idea but could not deliver the promised desktop typeface. The experimental Hard and Soft cuts now store gradients and layered vector transparency inside OpenType color fonts. The specimen is editable text, with 35, 45 and 75 atmosphere presets and a large Soft editor. Conventional outlines provide a fallback where the color format is unsupported.
03 / Design decisions
The AHG identity, Latin extension, base fonts and color cuts now derive from one confirmed outline master. The kit includes editable source, fonts, a specimen and naming guidance. Later revisions compare unchanged glyph outlines and spacing rather than relying only on screenshots. Wider scripts, full kerning and desktop compatibility remain documented as unfinished.
What came out of it
A local type identity and downloadable prototype kit rebuilt from the confirmed recovery masters: Regular, Bold and Text, plus six font-native color cuts. Each branded base cut preserves all 88 mapped master characters; the full family has 149 glyphs. The logo, case imagery and native Soft specimen use those same shapes. No paid sales, catalog approval or completed global-script support is claimed.
Test Photoshop/Illustrator and physical devices, complete Latin punctuation and kerning, run production font QA, obtain native-language reviews and choose the sale license/currency. The proposed $1.99 introductory price is not an active checkout.
